How can we improve onpatient?

Assigning values to the custom template fields that can be linked to macros

It would be great if there was a way to assign a unique identifier or code to a specific Field on one of our customized onPatient templates so that we can place the value of that field into a Macro like you currently do with Patient’s Age, Office, Exam Room, Date of Service, etc. The doctor looks at those values (the totals in all of our questionnaires) in order to make a medical determination for his treatment plan. Our Medical Assistants take these scores and input them into the Clinical Notes for each patient’s initial doctor visit. Rather than flip back and forth between screens, it would be so much easier if we could assign each questionnaire total a specific identifier and then have that total link up to an item that we could easily place in a macro. That way, all we would have to do is easily paste a macro into the Clinical Note and the totals for each assigned field would already be there. It would sure save us a lot of time and effort!
