  1. Make it possible to print superbill and hcfa from the doctors iPad app. It's all I need to run my office from my iPad

I am a single Doctor practice and when I do not have staff at the front desk I could completely run my office from the iPad if I could print the superbill and hcfa from the iPad Doctor EHR app. Otherwise I have to go to the front desk, log in, and print from a different computer. It would really save me some time to be able to do it directly from the iPad.

    • Allow patients to use the drchrono website at their home/office to enter their demographics/insurance information

This would save tons of time for our reception staff if the patients could do this themselves. We could place a link on our own website to a drchrono portal. They could also select their preferred pharmacy, medication list, etc.

      • As Labs come in from Quest, can you please put the word "Partial" or "Complete" next to Patient Name

In the current Lab Title only patients name is displayed - please allow the word "Partial" or "Complete" in the Title Name in Messages. Quest has indicated that they do send this information through and that another EHR - E Clinical has been putting this word in their lab messages. It would help us ALOT to have this information upfront.
PLEASE NOTE: We need to get all labs, BUT we would like to have the option to DELETE the Partial labs, not just Archive it - Quest can ONLY send us either ALL LABS or FINAL LABS ONLY - We…

Adding Partial/Complete next to the patient name for lab results will be live on Monday. Having the option to delete a lab result will also be live in the next couple weeks. This will only show on the ‘labs tab’ within the message center.

        • Give patients the option of different time increments for appointments, then show availability as appropriate to the selected increment.

We offer 30, 45, and 60 minute appointments, but patients can only schedule 30 minute appointments. This makes it so that we have to correct many appointment lengths and sometimes reschedule because only 30 minutes were available but the patient needed 45 or 60.

          • Automatically setup up appointment reminder for all appointments without having to add a reminder to each individually. Saves time.

Having to remember to add an appointment reminder is easy to forget. If a standard reminder is already created why not have it automatically added to all appointments. This would save time and create less "no shows".

We require our users to set their patients’ appointment reminders manually first, but you can certainly select to use the patient’s last reminders for subsequent visits.

            • Add the access e-mail link for new patients to the Appointment Window

Currently, in order to send an access e-mail to new patients to have them begin the On Boarding process, it is necessary to click out of the "schedule appointment" window, open the search function, search for the patient, enter the patient's chart, click on the "Patient Access" tab and then click the "Send access email" button. This is just blatantly inefficient.

By adding the "Access E-mail" link to the "Schedule Appointment" window , it would be much more efficient. You're right there making the appointment... please make it easier to complete the process.

When you create an appointment and select ‘save’ – a blue icon with a arrow inside a box will populate next to the patients name to the right. That in turn would let you send the ‘access email’.

              • record who creates an eRx

currently anyone with eRx privileges can order medication but it will appear as though the physician created it- this is ripe for abuse and does not allow to track mistakes

huge potential liability as anyone with eRx privileges can abuse the MD without recourse

of course a solution is to prohibit anyone else from having eRx privileges, however this does not allow PA, RN to have it either

                • Superbill should include the practice logo, printed at top right

Right now the Superbill does not appear to provide a mechanism to include our practice logo.

Including that would be an improvement over trying to print superbills on our letterhead (especially when the drchrono layout changes.

                    • "favorite" med list to populate medication field

Allow the favorite med list to populate the medication field just like when sending an eRx. I see patients all the time with the same medications, this would save time so I wouldn't have to keep filling out the sig over and over again. Thanks

                      • Show the date an eRx was sent or DC'd

Whenever I send a new eRx, the date that it was sent is not noted in the med list. This makes it difficult to know when a medication was started or discontinued. Most EHRs have this function and it seems important.

                        • list reason for breaks on google calender.

I think the reason for a break such as lunch or business meeting is not HIPPA confidential and can be included on the google calender. I currently have to make 2 events on my google calender so I know why I have a break scheduled.

                            • I would like OnPatient to have a section where the patient fills out that will automatically populate the subjective part of my SOAP note

Patient enters the office. Staff hands them OnPatient. Patient is able to tap a few buttons and write if desired telling the doctor how they are doing. Their answers will automatically populate the Subjective part of the SOAP note.

Thanks for the suggestion! Our current onpatient portal allows the patient to fill out clinical forms which will then populate in the onpatient section of the clinical note. Those forms will print along with any other clinical templates (including SOAP notes) filled out in that visit. Please see #3 in this knowledge base article:

It is important to know who scheduled an appointment incase there is an error in scheduling. The only way to add this info is by adding it to the notes when scheduling which is not the best as anyone who creates/edits schedule may forget to add

Sadly we won’t be able to remove the numbers from the “Smoking Status” option.

Our EHR is Meaningful Use certified, and this certification requires us to display this information in a certain way, and that includes the numbers.

Faxes often come in upside down. There should be a fast way to rotate it 180 degrees, and save it out that way permanently.

                                      Hello,

We’ve completed this request to bring the rotation of fax documents within the drchrono message center.

Please expect this to be available in the next two weeks.

I’ve included a screenshot within this request to give you a glimpse of the fax rotation tool within the message center. (Please take a look within the subject line of the requested feature for the link)

                                      Thank you.

                                      -Vishal Kuber

                                    • Edit appointments in the APP

I need to be able to edit an appointment inside the app.
When I make an appointment I cannot edit it until I get to a computer.

                                      • Faxing out Uploaded Documents

Faxing out from the Uploaded Documents section should support the ability to select multiple documents to be faxed out at once. Currently you have to fax out each upload separately.

                                        • change to color (ie, grey) when the patient has been seen (arrived) and checked out.

This is how my staff can keep track of who has been seen for the day on the scheduler without moving the cursor over the names of the patients. It much easier to just look at the schedule and see if there are any patients that has not been seen or vice versa who has been seen already and has checked out.
