  1. have an option when viewing the calendar to hide patient names

    Sometimes when scheduling at the front desk, patients try to lean over to see our calendar. However because the calendar shows every scheduled patient's full names, we have to ask the patient to please step away from the screen and to not look at it. It would be great to have an option to mask or hide patient names (or even to make them initials) so that patients can look at the calendar on my screen without violating the privacy of other patients.

        Currently inactive meds are marked in light blue. Having inactive in red font will help.

        • Create a box for 33b

          Blue Shield requires a pin to process claims correctly. However, we cannot easily put a pin in box 33b, which is where they want the pin. We switch between chiropractic and acupuncture and when we do, all of the acupuncture appointments end up getting denied because they were processed incorrectly. Trying to get Blue Shield to correct them is a hassle. The easiest way to fix this would be to create an extra field in Billing Details. A box we can click to easily add a pin that gets put into box 33b. Having this done would help so much…

            • Patient Account Number to be printed on either Patient demographics or Transaction Summary page

              It would be very helpful to have the patient's Account Number print on a Patient Demographic sheet when printed or the Full Transaction History sheet. We provide these two documents to our local collection agency when we assign collection accounts out. They have no identifier for the patient and cannot use their date of birth due to collection laws. It's a pretty standard thing in most EMR's. In the meantime we hand writing the patients account number on all printed paper forms.

                I've been using DrChrono since 2011, and one of the main things I like about it is the ease with which you can customize it. Unfortunately, the new form builder is much less user friendly and I've pretty much given up on updating my templates further as it is now much too cumbersome to do so.

                  The number of each prescription given is not recorded in the note for that day. It is also not recorded in the prescription log. This is not acceptable especially when it comes to control medications. It becomes extremely difficult knowing the number of a particular prescription was given to a patient especially when there are multiple providers. It seems rather unbelievable that the number of each medication is not included in the note on the prescription log. This should be a rather easy fix.

                    We have 5 providers, and two admin people. Dr Chrono forces us to assign each admin person to a single provider. That's stupid. Not everyone has a glorious 1:1 admin to provider ratio. Forcing us to assign admin to one provider allows the following to happen:

                    1) Allie Admin faxes a records request for one Dr. J's patients. She does it from the "Practice group" drop down.

                    2) UNFORTUNATELY Dr. Chrono forced management to randomly assign Allie Admin to Dr. Y. So when Allie Admin sends the request, the fax cover sheet says that it is from Dr. Y, and…

                      Make the list on the left of the patient's profile customizable. For instance, not all doctors utilize "Growth Charts" and it would be great if they could customize that list so they don't have to see "Growth Charts."

                        Please add push notification feature so that when a patient sends a message or email through DrChrono, there is a notification bubble on the app. I'm not in office every day, and sometimes I see a message 2 days later because unless I log in from my desktop/laptop I have no idea there's a message waiting.

                          The audit log tracking activity for outgoing messages, faxes, and referrals do not actually log which user sent the thing. All faxes, messages or referrals sent by admin staff shows up in the log as being sent by the PROVIDER that admin person is assigned to (arbitrarily in our case, as admin people are shared by multiple providers).

                          If admin sends a message to patient, stating "x, y, z", I should be able to look and see specifically WHICH admin person did that. (I've complained that messages from admin shouldn't look to the patient as if the provider them self…

                              If I create a task and assign it to a staff member, then in my All Messages I see the task. I see a notification which to me means that I have a message but instead it’s just the task I created. I believe that this is unnecessary and adds too much clutter to my inbox.

                                Tasking clinical notes would be very helpful for our practice to be able to track signatures and ensure accurate completion of clinical notes when they need to be modified or seen by staff members other than the providers.

                                  Please add a custom visit counter/tracker without the need of pre-authorization or referral. I must admit, the pre-auth and referral work great! However, if a patient only get 10 visits a year, I need to track that without having to manual do it. I should be able to plug-in that amount of visits and have it automatically count down. Easy to do I imagine. Please add this feature.

                                    When taking a new patient over the phone, you get some misspellings of their names, and the chart number is made from the misspelled name. The ability to edit the chart ID would be great so that the chart number reflects the correct spelling of their name.

                                        Currently the only type of custom field you can add to Appointment is a free text box. Drop-downs should be available also. It would be even better if you could choose to add a lookup against other system fields such as User because it is often that not just one person is caring for a client and it would be helpful to reference the user list to show who else is caring for the client.

                                          I love having side by side custom vitals to review results from previous exams would love to have all information available in a user friendly way so information can be quickly found.
