      It’s very easy to create appointments on the iPad with one click for patients as they come in (you don’t have to use the web version to create appointments before creating a clinical note or starting the onboarding / checkin process.

      Here is feedback from a user that I feel justifies resolving this request:

Since for walk-ins, or using other schedules, you still need to enter patient name and DOB, scheduling an appointment is 1 click on the Ipad. It defaults to the current date, and time.     • Please add an inventory control module to track vitamins/ supplements and be able to add to Rx list.

      Please add inventory control as a module. Many naturopathic and chiropractic doctors prescribe vitamins/supplements and it would be nice to integrate it into our chart notes instead of having to free text them. Having a place where we could input our inventory and be able to add them to the 'Medication' list would be helpful.

      • Med / Fam / Social History field permanent from visit to visit, just like Medications & Allergies.

        It would help me to be more efficient if the Med / Fam / Social History field was persistent from old notes to the current visit, just like Medications & Allergies. If it were, I would have easy and immediate access to the pertinent medical history when a patient comes in with a new complaint (assuming a complete initial consultation with review of medical history was performed during a previous visit).

        • Add Tabs to Allow Instantaneous Swiching Between the Current Visit & Any Previous Visits, Uploaded Material, Etc

          When examining an existing patient, it's obviously helpful to be able to reference the existing record. With a paper chart, it is a simple matter of flipping thru the pages.

          Doing this with DrChrono, however, is very cumbersome because every time you switch between visits there is an annoying lag while the pages load.

          If we had tabs like those in a web browser, we could keep the previous visit loaded on one tab & then instantaneously switch between them.

            Thanks for the suggestion. We have worked hard to improve the speed and reduce load times when referencing different parts of the patient’s chart.

            On the web, from the patient dashboard, you can view any of your patients’ clinical notes and uploaded documents in separate tabs for easy switching.

            On the iPad, when viewing a patient’s chart, the History tab will show a list of previous clinical notes along with uploaded documents. Please see this knowledge base article https://support.drchrono.com/hc/en-us/articles/204829960.

          • Integrate with Dropbox for direct pdf uploads from ipad

            Many of us use 3rd party apps for electronic forms and signatures to eliminate the last bit of paper work. It would be time saving and efficient if we could upload scanned documents directly from dropbox.

              Offer the ability to delete an entire patient's record with some level of admin approval - password protected.

                We don’t delete any records from drchrono in order to protect sensitive health information from being accidentally deleted.

                However, you can mark patients as inactive and they won’t show up in the EHR unless you specifically search for inactive patients (so they shouldn’t clutter up your patient list.)

                This is normally only done in cases were there are a large number of inactive or invalid records (for example if a bad set of patients was bulk imported.)

                • change to color (ie, grey) when the patient has been seen (arrived) and checked out.

                  This is how my staff can keep track of who has been seen for the day on the scheduler without moving the cursor over the names of the patients. It much easier to just look at the schedule and see if there are any patients that has not been seen or vice versa who has been seen already and has checked out.

                      This a request commonly raised by most of our Customers to create an alert message, which they can enter, for each patient account.

                      My thought is, we can create some colors, which the doctor/practice can customize, to enter the messages. This way the doctors can see the color shaded in the patient name & understand the reason instead of opening the patient account.

                      This Alert message should pop-up whenever a patient account is opened, and also when this patient is chosen during appointment scheduling.

                        • Use new DOJ rules that allow eRx of controlled substances

                          The DOJ now allows eRx of controlled substances with certified two-factor authentication. drchrono should add this functionality ASAP. It's been approved by DOJ and almost every state in the USA.

                          It's an even bigger issue for mobile practices because we are almost never geographically near the pharmacy who needs to receive the triplicate Rx, and patient's family sometimes meet us in the field in order to pick up a controlled substance Rx.

                          • I would like OnPatient to have a section where the patient fills out that will automatically populate the subjective part of my SOAP note

                            Patient enters the office. Staff hands them OnPatient. Patient is able to tap a few buttons and write if desired telling the doctor how they are doing. Their answers will automatically populate the Subjective part of the SOAP note.

                              Thanks for the suggestion! Our current onpatient portal allows the patient to fill out clinical forms which will then populate in the onpatient section of the clinical note. Those forms will print along with any other clinical templates (including SOAP notes) filled out in that visit. Please see #3 in this knowledge base article:

                                  We have patients that take time off from work and they require work/school excuse letters, abnormal blood result notice or other recall letters. Its very important to have the feature that the staff can print it out. It is also important when patients file for disability and its easy to track how much time they have missed from work

                                    Faxes often come in upside down. There should be a fast way to rotate it 180 degrees, and save it out that way permanently.

                                      Under account settings,the option to drag and drop the offices and providers name in alphabetical order doesn't apply to more than 1 page.

                                          The ability to export an entire patient record to a pdf in one click or to be able to select which parts get added to pdf. This way if there is a records request or subpoena, we can select what can go and have one file rather than having to do each encounter, note, lab result, fax, etc....one at a time, then zip them to send.
