Allow EDITING of PHONE CALLS.
We should be able to edit phone calls.... a quick mis-tap of the iPad screen, and an incomplete Phone call is cast in stone. Silly. We should Definitely be able to add-to or edit a phone call, then sign-off. Aren't we all adults here?
You can actually edit certain phone call logs. According to a support ticket I opened, you can edit "communication logs" from the "Com. Log" tab of an appointment (on the schedule). There is a blue pencil button.
You cannot edit "Communication Logs" from the communication tab of the patient's chart. Note that if you assign a communication log to an appointment, the log will be editable from that appointment's window (pt chart->appointments tab->edit appointment->Com. Log tab). You cannot change the appointment a communication log is assigned to.

This was NOT COMPLETED! When you click on the "completed button" it takes you to a different task that was. It has been mislabeled and so I will create a new request for this. Please find it and vote on it daily. This is killing me!

I see that this was completed back in November, but I am unaware of how to edit a Phone Call Log. We're able to add comments, but can't edit the original message. Can anyone help?
The edit log should be tracked, if calls can be edited.
Agreed. It is very annoying that once you hit save, if you see a spelling error or the patient calls you back 2 minutes later to clarify something, you can't simply edit the existing note rather than create a new one.
MA takes a phone call with a question from a patient, the doctor needs to document the response to that question. Answer, treatment plan etc... It is silly to have to create a new phone log and reexplain the question to address the plan.
Oh yes, it is illogical to not be able to go back and edit them. If I call a patient multiple times about the same issue, especially on the same day, I don't want to log 5 separate calls.
